Rudderless!
An eventful sail back from Sinda on Sunday saw SWJ going around in circles before her eventual rescue by Mamba, skippered by Richard (thanks, Richard!). We were sailing 3-up, Paul/Gary & Sean, aiming to hit new top speeds downwind with the big kite, breeze 18kts and some nice swells. All was going nicely and the larger swells pushed us into double numbers, with a top speed of 10.7. From the ship anchorage we gybed back onto port, hoping to catch a long surf on the swells coming through the gap.
