  • Tanzacat 2011 Results! In a big turn-around from previous years, Hobie 16s took the top three slots in a field of 24 competitors for this year's Tanzacat competition. Congratulations to Graham "Fish" Southwick and crew Titaporn Khaipho who took podium on "Fiji Flyer". "Alphacrucis", sailed by Dave Scott and Paul Troll took second place. An amazing performance by rookies Jeroen Van' Pad Bosch and Eveline put "Theluji" in third. Well done all! Full results - race by race and overall are in the pdf attached.

  • Tanzacat Opening Ceremony Saturday 3 Sept. TANZACAT OPENING CEREMONY AND PARTY on Sat 3rd September 2011 6.00pm. Ngoma dancers.6.30pm. Opening presentation, thanks and introductions.6.40pm. Address, welcoming of visitors.6.45pm. Maasai warrior dance.6.55pm. Symbolic mixing of the waters ceremony.7.10pm. Maasai warrior dance. 7.30pm. BBQ meal. Standard Friday night BBG range. Standard bar services and a TBL Castle Light sales table on the lawn below the Castle Corner outdoor area. 9.00pm.DJ Chesco, dance and party until you drop (or sneak off to bed without anyone seeing to conserve energy for Sunday's sailing).PIZZA NIGHT OFF.
